This book is a down-to-earth, practical introduction for parents considering elimination communication for their baby of any age. It has handy summaries of what to expect at each stage, a relaxed approach that means parents won't feel guilty if they are unable to do full-time EC, and a series of imaginative characters to help parents recognise their children's elimination cues. If you've ever been on the fence about whether or not to EC, this is the book for you. If you've never heard of EC but want to know more, this is also your book. Highly recommended.

An easy to implement introduction to EC
This book is a quick read for the busy mom who needs a good baseline for starting elimination communication (EC). It has lots of pictures and tips for how to start your little one on the path to toilet independence. The book covers a variety of topics surrounding EC and lays them out in an easy to understand fashion. It might take a week or two to get into a groove with your little one but it is 100% worth it! Poopy diapers are disgusting!!! Try EC and skip the awful diaper cleanups! I will be using this method for all my future kids.

I just wanted to say how helpful the new book was! I love this straightforward approach to EC! I read this book when I had a 4 week old and a 2-year-old, and EC felt so intimidating with two kids but her eat, potty, play then sleep routine was so easy to incorporate! Other EC resources had felt daunting, but this was so simple and doable. The book also gives lots of good information about cloth diapering options and potty tools to help the process. It's an easy, quick, helpful read!

I did EC with my first but came across the book 'Elimination Communication Babies' while pregnant with my second. The book is an easy read, covering everything it needs to. I found it easy to follow a more routine-based approach with my second baby with cloth nappy backup. We started from birth catching two meconium poos on her first day! The routine approach made it easier while also dealing with a toddler. We are 5 months now and are doing really well. We are now more in tune with each other and sometimes even going an entire morning with a dry nappy. Less nappy washing, zero nappy rash equals a win.

A memory came up for me today – we've been pottying for 1 whole year now! Best thing we ever could have done with our now 14-month-old. She's fully out of nappies at home during the day. We have been for a few undie outings with success too eek! Thanks for getting it out there.

If you're new to EC, need some inspiration, or want to encourage others to try EC, then definitely have a read of Elimination Communication Babies book. It is a fun, easy-to-read, informative guide to starting and progressing with EC. The book is broken down into age-based stages to get you started and help you along the way. The history of nappies and pottying is intriguing and helps explain why EC has dropped off the radar in western culture. The section on cloth nappies is also a good starting point if you're not already using cloth. Bex is passionate about helping people to help their babies stay clean and comfortable while saving money and the environment, all by reducing dependence on nappies. Definitely worth a read.
